To do this, both your PC and the remote one need to be running on Windows 10 with the Anniversary Update installed. You can’t just remotely connect whenever you want - your family member or friend must be sitting at the PC to grant you access when you connect. However, this feature requires the other person help initiate the connection. It works similarly to Remote Desktop, and is available on all editions of Windows 10. Built into Windows 10, Quick Assist allows you to remotely access another person’s PC in cases wherein you are physically unable to go to the exact site to troubleshoot it. Along with the release of the Anniversary Update of Windows 10 is the new Quick Assist feature.
